Heavy Duty Screw Conveyor

Fluiteco’s Heavy Duty screw conveyors are used in industries where transporting “complicated” products continuously 24/7 is essential. They have been supplied extensively to slaughterhouses, paper mills, and perforation industries.

The CCSHD conveyors are designed to transport heterogeneous materials: solids, semi-liquids, and liquids. Their design minimizes contact between the screw and the external trough, ensuring high efficiency in lifting both solids and liquids. The screw is made with thick material and supported by a wheel on a liner bottom made of high molecular density HDPE or stainless steel/Hardox.

The screw has no bottom or intermediate supports, allowing construction in a single piece up to 40 meters long. Liquid transport is facilitated by a special internal side drawer that prevents spillage during conveying. The rotation speed is defined according to flow rate, length, and material characteristics.

The durability and carefully selected materials guarantee high reliability even under harsh working conditions.

CCH-D – Tramoggia di Carico con Trasporto Cocleato

The CCH-D is a loading hopper equipped with screw transport, designed to immediately receive and conveyincoming material in a continuous and uniform flow. Its primary function is direct material transfer.

Fluiteco’s CCH-D is a compact and durable solution for continuous handling of bulk materials such as shredded matter, sludge, or solid waste. Designed for ground-level or pit installation, it serves as the ideal first reception point in material transport or treatment processes.

Material is loaded into the hopper via mechanical means (trucks, grabs, loaders) and immediately conveyed by screws, which transport it to the discharge or lifting point. The synchronized screw action ensures continuous operation, avoiding stoppages or build-up.

The CCH-D operates without downtime, ensuring a constant material flow, which can then be lifted or transferred to higher levels via external systems.

Structurally, it is built in AISI 304L stainless steel (316L optional), with open or enclosed structure depending on dust containment needs. Load cells can be installed for flow monitoring upon request.

Thanks to its simplicity and robustness, it is the perfect choice for applications requiring direct reception and continuous transport, such as waste treatment plants, anaerobic digestion, or pneumatic conveying to silos and dosing stations.
